Serendipity Restaurant, on the bank of the Touw river Lagoon in Wilderness National Park, is a place where food becomes the vessel for creativity, happiness, poetry, humour, culture & beauty. During our seven years of existence, we received the top 100 Dine Award from 2003 onwards, the American Express Platinum Fine Dining Award, the BOE & Moët Top 30 Restaurants in S.A. and other prestigious awards.

Chef Lizelle Stolze lectured at Prue Leith College of Food & Wine in Gauteng before relocating to Wilderness to start Serendipity with her husband, Rudolf, in 2001. She was chosen as Chef of the Month in Rapport for May 2008 and was selected as top chef in the Garden Route last year. Lizelle will be presenting hands-on culinary art workshops during the “Green Season”. You will be part of the kitchen brigade: shopping & planning, helping to prepare and cook the food for the restaurant. In the evenings, you will sit down to a dining experience and compliment yourself on your creations and artistry.

For the partner who only wants to partake in the Dining Experience, we could organize a round of Golf at one of the nearby golf courses such as Oubaai, Pezula or Fancourt, an Adventure outing with Eden Adventures such as abseiling, mountain biking, horse riding or canoeing, or even a pamper session at a spa.
